Calling all Swifties! Have you felt down ever since The Eras Tour ended? Well, you’re in luck because on Black Friday of 2024, Taylor Swift released the official The Eras Tour Book.
In the book, it includes a brief overview, all the “eras” she performed in order of which she performed them, and even some behind the scenes info/pictures. Taylor Swift states, “Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour. See you next era…”
All eras include a brief blurb about the ideas and concepts behind each album and how she wanted to incorporate them into her tour. Then, each era has high quality HD pictures highlighting the different outfits she wore each night.
The book even includes her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department as well as the most exciting part of The Eras Tour for all swifites, “The Acoustic Set”. “It’s the coolest illusion of the night and I’ll never forget the sound of the crowd the first time they saw it, somewhere between shock, horror, and elation. Mission accomplished.”
The book ends off with interesting behind the scenes pictures that a fan would die to see. She also thanks the fans who came to the show. “You were what made The Eras Tour what it became.” That’s a real legacy to leave.
As someone who went to The Eras Tour, this book not only brought back so many memories, but created new memories for myself since I went in 2023 and didn’t get to experience the new era, The Tortured Poets Department.
One of the highlights of a swifties night would be guessing each outfit on their mastermind on the Swift Alert app, debating which one she would choose for each era that night. This book gives swifties an opportunity to see each outfit up close and with high quality pictures So whether you got to go in person to see The Eras Tour or not, you get to see every outfit you never had the chance to see.
The Eras Tour Book is a very easy read as it only has writing on a couple pages, and each are about a paragraph or two long. So, technically, this book could be good for anyone who knows how to read.
However, if you’re a swiftie, you might read this book thinking there might be some “Easter eggs” as if Taylor is hinting at anything else being released anytime soon. You might think something is missing or you’re looking for something more. But as a swiftie, we’re always looking for something more.
So, I guess we’ll never know when we’re getting a new album drop or a re-record, but one thing is for sure, The Eras Tour Book is here to stay and it is a very enjoyable book especially since us swifties have had our post-concert depression ever since December 8th 2024, when The Eras Tour ended. So, overall, I would give The Eras Tour Book a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.
I got this book as a Christmas gift from my parents, and it was immediately my favorite gift. So, if you’re looking for a gift for someone or looking treat yourself, I would highly recommend buying it. “Goodbye may seem forever, but it’s not the end. It’s just the beginning of a new chapter.”
