Eagles vs Giants Week 14 Predictions

The Philadelphia (11-1) take on the New York Giants (7-4-1) on the road tomorrow at 1:00 PM.

NFC East divisional games are always competitive, no matter the teams’ records, and I expect nothing different next week. Last year the Giants upset the Eagles and embarrassed the dominating Eagles’ offense. Ever since that game, which ended with the dreaded Jalen Reagor dropped touchdown, the Eagles are 14-2 and are the number one team record-wise in the league.

The Eagles’ defense has struggled against the run during the season, but last week held Derrick Henry to under 40 yards. The main reason I believe the Eagles’ defense will dominate again is the return of Jordan Davis. He has made it clear that he is a premier nose tackle and the run defense’s anchor. As of Saturday morning, Saquon Barkley is questionable to play with a neck injury, but honestly, I am sure the Eagles want him to play; they want no excuses if they win.

The Eagles’ offense continues to dominate, as Jalen Hurts won offensive player of the week two weeks in a row. They have shown teams they can win on the ground or through the air, making them tough to gameplan for. When asked what stands out about the Eagles on tape, Brian Daboll, Head Coach of the Giants, said, “Everything.”

The Giants’ offense clearly runs through Saquon Barkley, so if he is out and the Eagles’ defense can contain Daniel Jones, I see no potential way for the Giants to win. Not to mention, the Eagles’ offense has been scoring at will, and this week they have the potential to have AJ Brown and Miles Sanders both eclipse 1,000+ yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

I predict Jalen Hurts will combine for over 350 yards from scrimmage with 3 total touchdowns. I also believe James Bradberry will intercept a pass from Daniel Jones in his revenge game.

I predict the Eagles will win 31-10 and cruise to a 12-1 record, staying on top in the NFC.
