The Name of the Wind
If you like going to school at Hogwarts with Harry Potter, tagging along on an adventure to defeat Smog the dragon, or escaping into brand new worlds, this book is for you!
The Name of the Wind, written by Patrick Rothfuss, begins with a sad lonely innkeeper named Kvothe. One night, a strange fellow traveling on the road is mysteriously attacked and brought to Kvothe’s inn.
The stranger introduces himself as the Chronicler and explains he was looking for Kvothe to tell him his story of how he became a legend. Kvothe hides the fact that he is a wizard and is famously known as Kvothe the Kingkiller and Kvothe the Bloodless.
How did he acquire these titles? You will have to read to find out.
Filled with magic, salty teachers, friendship, enemies, music, and dragons, this book will keep you on your toes every page of the way.
Don’t be intimidated by the length of this book; it reads much faster than you think. With its detailed descriptions, The Name of the Wind is a page turner; once you pick it up, it is really hard to put down.
I loved reading this epic fantasy. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes great story telling!

I think this book is amazing. On my top three together with The Return of the King, Diplomat of Uram, or Elantris.
