They simple butter cookies are very easy to make and delicious. Try this recipe out for a cute dessert to eat during the holidays!

Ingredients:
1\2 cup butter
3\4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 Tbs milk
1\2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1\2 tsp salt

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix the butter and  the sugar.

Add the egg and beat.

Add  the vanilla and the milk.

Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl, then add it to the original bowl.

Chill the dough for 2 hrs.

Roll out the dough on a counter with flour, and cut it into shapes.

Put the cookies onto a greased cookie sheet.

Put egg wash (egg white) on the cookies for shine.

Add sprinkles if desired for decoration, and to make the cookies more festive!

Bake for about 10 min or until lightly brown.
